TasteRater scores are unique in being based on your own taste in restaurants.  Rather than relying on the judgement of a single individual reviewer or the opinions of people who you know nothing about, TasteRater looks at how you rate restaurants in order to find other members with similar preferences. We then provide you with individualised restaurant ratings based on the opinions of members who are most similar to you.

The more restaurants you rate, the more information we have in making recommendations and the better our predicted ratings will reflect your real tastes.  Rate restaurants that you like, as well as dislike, across different categories.  And invite your friends to the site.  The more ratings we have, the better able we are to recommend new restaurants to you.
